The annual programme and statement of accounts are the main formal management tools of the board. The SUB's year of office ("political year") lasts from the beginning of the autumn semester to the end of the spring semester. At the beginning of its term of office, the executive board draws up an annual programme, which must be approved by the student council (Art. 23 Para. 4 Statutes). At the end of the term of office, the executive board gives an account of the work it has done (Art. 27 Para. 2 Statutes).
